India beat West Indies by five wickets. Rohit Sharma led the Indian team to victory. With this victory, Team India has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Batting first, West Indies scored just 114 runs after losing the toss. Captain Shai Hope scored the maximum 43 runs for the West Indies. Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets and Kuldeep Yadav took four wickets for India.

India scored 118 runs for five wickets on the basis of Ishaan Kishan's 52 runs and won the match. Gudakesh Moti took two wickets, Jayden Sales and Yannick took one wicket each for the West Indies.

The Indian team performed brilliantly with the ball in this match and stopped the West Indies on a small score.  Team India did a lot of experiments in the batting order.

 Ishaan and Gill started the innings. Suryakumar came at number three. Hardik came at number four and Jadeja at number five. Shardul batted at number six. However, with India five wickets down, skipper Rohit had to come out to bat and finish the match.
